BiographyBiography: Glass painter and draughtsman. Studied with Jan van Boekhorst in Haarlem, but worked for the most part in Amsterdam. Until the last few decades, his work was virtually unknown. The dealer Jan Pietersz. Zoomer, who was his pupil, owned several hundred drawings by him, and his art was praised by Houbraken.
