DescriptionDescription: Pen and brown ink, grey wash, 126 x 44 mm. Ruled framing lines in brown ink. Laid down. This and the following two drawings in the Anckarsvärd Collection were considered important enough to be neatly mounted together on a sheet of paper that was given a coating of grey body colour matching the wash of the drawings. Despite this, no old attribution has been transmitted. The drawings are no doubt cut from larger sheets. The present one, with a piece of ornament below the three figures, suggests a drawing for a cartouche, similar to the series preserved in the Rijksprentenkabinet in Amsterdam.
