DescriptionDescription: The drawing is by a close follower of Annibale, and several potential candidates have been identified. Cahterine Johnston suggested Francesco Albani or G.A. Sirani, while Babette Bohn proposed Lucio Massari. Carel van Tuyll, on the other hand, finds the verso very close to Guido Reni. As there are obvious similarities between the drawing style of Reni and Antonio Catherine Loisel has suggested the possibility that the drawing, both recto and verso, might be a work by Antonio [Bjurström, It. Drawings, cat. no. 1439 verso]
