DescriptionDescription: Laid down. Numbered at lower right in pen and brown ink: 801 (Sparre) and 132 (struck out) The drawing is a study for one of the frescoes of the Herrera Chapel in the Roman church of "S. Giacomo degli Spagnoli". Attributed to Annibale Carracci and Francesco Albani, the fresco is now deposited in the Prado. In 1646 Simon Guillain executed a series of prints after the Herrera Chapel frescoes. [Bjurström, It. Drawings, cat. no. 1415]
