DescriptionDescription: Numbered at lower right in pen and brown ink: 5 (struck out). Inscribed on a strip, separated from the drawing, in pen and brown ink: Cigniani. Numbered on the same strip in red chalk: 4 and in pen and brown ink: 35. Inscribed on the old mount in pen and brown ink: Guido Cagnacci and numbered: 976 (Sparre), 48 (struck out) and 1153 Cignani is known for his technically perfect model studies, mostly in red chalk.
