DescriptionDescription: The chair, known as sgabello, is typical of the Italian Renaissance. It is a stool with an added backrest. The legs consist of either two boards or three turned legs. They were usually made of walnut, with a polished surface that reminded of bronze. The chairs could have carved decorations, sometimes with the family coat of arms.
