DescriptionDescription: This depiction of Adam and Eve is a free imitation of Albrecht Dürer’s famous engraving dating from 1504. The strange thing about this iconography is that the first humans already feel ashamed and are covering themselves with fig leaves, although this was an insight that they did not gain until after tasting the forbidden fruit.
