DescriptionDescription: The embroidery was “a shock of joy”, critic Susann Frennberg wrote in the magazine Form in 1967, because Alice Sellgren was able to use “all tones and shades at the same time” and still create a unity. The title emphasized that this was a liberation from the textile traditions, where the textile teacher’s call for embroidery to look as good on the back as on the front was nothing but a memory.
