DescriptionDescription: European Silver 1500–1850, Nationalmuseum 2011, cat nr 53: Heraldry: Mark with the coat of arms of the Sparre family and engraved impaled coats of arms of Erik Sparre (1665–1726) and Christina Beata Lillie (1677–1727). A mark with the Sparre coat of arms also decorates the candlesticks. Comments: Candlesticks, a pair (NMK 163–164/1981). Later nozzles of Arvid Floberg (active 1763–1802), Stockholm, 1773. Purchased together with a similar pair of candlesticks without maker’s marks (NMK 165–166/1981).
