DescriptionDescription: The Danish architect Arne Jacobsen designed textiles and wallpaper for NK during the second world war. Many of his patterns depicted meadow flowers and plants. Jacobsen was Jewish, and he and his wife, Jonna, who was a textile designer, fled to Sweden after the German occupation in 1940. The couple left their homeland in 1943, when Danes began to be interned in Denmark or deported to German concentration camps.
