DescriptionDescription: The cabinet was part of Yngve Ekström’s furniture series Furubo, which also included armchairs, a rib-backed settee and coffee tables. All the furniture was made of pine, a material that would gain popularity in the 1970s. The design expressed a rustic unobtrusiveness that would suit the leisure needs of simple living in a rural setting.
