DescriptionDescription: Adelcrantz’ drawing of an aviary in Chinese style can be seen in the context of the addition of a new aviary on the Chinese Pavilion grounds behind the kitchen by the eastern avenue in 1758. This was the start of a transverse axis, which was completed after the new Chinese Pavilion was built in 1763.
