DescriptionDescription: A part of the drawing, above the table in the centre, redrawn on a separate piece of paper. Worm holes at the lower right. Laid down. Numbered in pen and brown ink in the lower right corner: 383 (Sparre) The attribution was first suggested by J. Gere and confirmed by Ph. Pouncey. R. Eitel-Porter has identified this as a study for a fresco in the Lateran Palace: Another study is in the Metreopolitan Museum, New York [Bjurström, It. Drawings, cat. no. 492]
