DescriptionExhibition text: Isa Andersson's design is about violence in close relationships and with the bowl “After you” she raises questions about the power structures of the dining table. What differs the roles between the one who serves and the one who is being served? Since the bowl is made of knife blades, placed with the edge facing inwards, it acts as a shield for the person holding it. Even the polite title, After You, comments on social power relations. Everyone's equal value is not a given. Some people are tasked with making the lives of others easier, as exemplified not least by new service jobs in the GIG economy.
