DescriptionDescription: Very worn surface, several vertical folds and small holes. Two large stains of greenish paint in centre Watermark: Fleur-de-lis in a circle Inscribed in pen and brown ink on the verso: di Gio Dudine, repeated on the backing paper: di Gio d'Udine (17th c.) The drawing is so worn, that it is difficult to judge. However, the paper shines through on the wings and there are no traces of colour there; other areas are summarily treated in brown and grey: all of this suggests that the drawing was never finished [Bjurström, It.
