DescriptionDescription: When it was launched, this telephone was revolutionary, both technically and in terms of design. It is made from an early plastic, Bakelite, which opened the way for a new design. Unlike earlier models in sheet metal, this one integrates the cradle and dial in the Bakelite casing. The production rate was dramatically increased. As the standard telephone issued to subscribers in Sweden, Heiberg’s model was to be found in many of the country’s homes. It was manufactured until 1962.
