DescriptionDescription: Numbered: 1113 in pen and brown ink in right corner (Sparre) This drawing has at least since Tessin's time formed a pair with the preceding number [NMH 1296/1863]. The fact that Crozat acquired many of his Bolognese drawings directly from Lorenzo Pasinelli supports the attribution. Catherine Johnston considers this drawing an exceptionally good example of Pasinelli's draughtsmanship. Ann Sutherland Harris and Nicholas Turner (oraly), however, doubts its authenticity. The doubts seem justified and Ann Sutherland Harris suggestion that i might be a French artist is worth considering. [Bjurström, It. Drawings, cat. no. 1609]
