DescriptionDescription: Numbered at lower centre in pen and brown ink: 917 (Sparre) and 16 (struck out). Study for Abstinence, one of the eight cardinal virtues in the lower register in the cupola of the "Tempio della Beata Vergine della Ghiara", Reggio Emilia, painted in 1618.
