DescriptionDescription: Sebastian Schildt is one of Sweden’s leading gold and silversmiths. He produces jewellery and silverware in his workshop in the area of Stockholm known as Oxenstiernska malmgården. He also promotes silversmithing in his gallery, Galleri Sebastian Schildt.

Additional texteDescription: The body of this jug is forged in one piece, a sheet of 4 mm thick silver the size of a dinner plate. The silver is worked with various hammers, starting with heavy ones and proceeding to lighter ones. The final forging of the outside is performed with light taps repeated in an even rhythm. Sebastian Schildt makes 100 beats per minute, which is 6000 beats per hour. It takes him between 70 and 100 hours to complete a jug.
