DescriptionDescription: At the 1925 Paris Exhibition, French architect Le Corbusier presented a pavilion titled L’Ésprit Nouveau – a new attitude. This was a modernist building with smooth walls, bands or rows of windows and a flat roof. The interior radiated the same austere simplicity. Modernist art hung on plain walls. The furniture was rectangular, such as this boudoir cabinet with a mirror for women’s beauty routines.
