DescriptionDescription: Through his patron Malla Silfverstolpe, Adolf Fredrik Lindblad had the opportunity to study piano, composition and music teaching in Berlin. He subsequently set up a music school in Stockholm, with Oscar I’s children among its pupils. Lindblad set to music poems by his many friends among the cultural figures of the day, such as Atterbom, Geijer and Thekla Knös, and composed symphonies and choral works. Jenny Lind often sang his songs on her tours.
