DescriptionDescription: After Carl Fredrik Hill was diagnosed with schizophrenia in Paris in 1878, he returned to his parental home in Lund, where he was cared for by his mother and sister. He continued to work creatively by drawing frequently and sometimes he reused motifs he had painted in France to reinterpret them in his new pictorial world – for example the fruit trees in blossom in the French countryside.
