DescriptionDescription: There are no clean lines, smooth surfaces and thin glass walls, that the modernists promoted during the first half of the 20th century, in Lars Hellsten’s fairy tale castle. The idiom is rich, powerful and muscular, with architectural elements like arches and onion domes. The sculpture was shown at the exhibition Glas och keramik i fria former (Glass and ceramics in free form) at the Röhsska Museum in 1968, together with other artisan objects where artistic form was given priority over practical use.
