DescriptionDescription: The pattern is a composition of basic geometric shapes – circles, cylinders and rectangles. With a bit of imagination, it can be seen as an interior in which a person, seen from above, is seated in an armchair on a rug. In Sweden Torhamn met the architects Sven Markelius and Gunnar Asplund, who were fighting for the acceptance of modern design ideas. They invited her to the 1930 Stockholm Exhibition, where this rug was shown.
