DescriptionDescription: A chamotte hedgehog! The soft prickles have been carefully made by hand, pinched one by one in the clay. The grittiness of the clay emphasises the matt surface of the glaze, creating a subdued whole. Aja Unonius worked at Arabia in Helsinki, where a studio for artistic production was established early. Sculpted animals were an important part of production, much in demand by collectors.
