DescriptionDescription: The cabinet was one of the designer items of the 1920s. It was exhibited in Gothenburg in 1923 and in Paris in 1925. The decor consists of intarsia work – inlays made of various types of wood – and represents an Antique temple surrounded by burning fire pots and approached by people of different ages. A contemporary critic praised the skilfully created intarsia but said the frame the cabinet stood on was far too old fashioned.
