DescriptionDescription: This sculpture represents Psyche, a princess of classical mythology. The beautiful king’s daughter is being carried by winged cupids to Olympus, the abode of the gods, to be reunited with her beloved Amor. The sculpture was commissioned by Emperor Rudolf II in Prague, and was among the spoils of war taken from the city in 1648.
