DescriptionDescription: The Oona deckchair has a simple yet carefully thought-out design. Its backrest and seat consist of broad planks angled towards each other to create a comfortable seating angle. Its wheels make it easy to move to catch the sun. The shape of its wheels refers to the covered wheels on Alvar Aalto’s classic tea trolley but is also reminiscent of children’s soapbox cars.

Additional texteDescription: Furniture designed for a journey or its destination must be comfortable to sit in. Thanks to the careful angle of the back and seat, this chair is comfortable to sit in even without cushions. The wood comes from a single log, so the grain has a calming, unifying pattern. Its wheels make it easy to move. Perhaps it reminds you of childhood soapbox cars. Atelier Sandemar aims to reclaim the value of traditional craftsmanship and thus increase the quality and uniqueness of each piece. In 2020, the chair was named furnishing of the year by Sköna Hem magazine.
