DescriptionDescription: The candlesticks are reminiscent of lion sculptures outside temples in China. Anna Petrus’ lion has a richly wavy mane and decoratively shaped claws. Its smiling jaws can also be seen in Chinese models. After a fire that destroyed most of the sculptor Petrus’ creations, she started working as a designer, not least for the firms Svenskt Tenn and Näfveqvarn. She made these candlesticks as part of her own business.
