DescriptionDescription: By pushing the boundaries between beautiful and ugly, crafts and mass production, Per B. Sundberg has strived to go “beyond the rules” of the Swedish design tradition. The aluminium dogs with moustaches are inspired by porcelain figurines. With a nod to the modernists, who believed that everything must have a function, Sundberg combines a decorative playfulness and the practical candlestick-function. He has previously made a similar version, in unglazed ceramics.
