DescriptionDescription: Point of brush in grey and black, grey wash, 269 x 399 mm. Watermark: Fleur-de-lis with the letters LVG. Chain lines: 28 mm. Signed on the boat to the left, T. Verryck del ad viv, point of brush in black. Inscribed on the verso, in pencil, gezigt Paardenburg Cingel aan de herberg de Dornboom te sien buyten Utrecht N:o 20:. Numbered in the lower right corner, in pencil, 1879. The Paardenburg Singel is a part of the Stadsbuitengracht by the defensive tower Het Paard, in the middle of this view.
