DescriptionDescription: Black chalk, point of brush in grey, grey wash, pen and brown ink, 409 x 536 mm. Dark brown framing lines, the ink of which is eroding the paper. Vertical folds in the centre, damage to the upper and lower left corners. No watermark. Chain lines: 25 mm. The foreground has been reinforced in pen and brown ink, most extensively on the right. The name of Joris van der Hagen is suggested in a note on the mount. [Magnusson, Dutch Drawings no. 478]
