DescriptionDescription: Black and white chalk, on blue-grey paper, 247 x 215 mm. Ruled framing lines in black ink. Laid down. Signature in the upper left corner, in black chalk, C. de Visscher / Fecit. Mark of the Royal Collection (Lugt 1638). Numbered on the mount, in pen and brown ink, 64 (struck out) and 1686 (Sparre). The chalk is handled with greater care and attention to detail than in the previous drawing, but the result is much too linear in character and this drawing should be judged in the same way as the previous one.
