DescriptionDescription: Hédi Fried was born in Sighet, formerly in Hungary but now in Romania. She is a teacher and a psychologist, but is best known as a writer. In several of her books, she has borne witness to the horrors of the Holocaust and to life in the wake of those difficult experiences. In this portrait, the photographer Sanna Sjöswärd subtly gives voice to the things we cannot quite put into words. Her images are never simple, conveying a complex picture of the human individual.
