DescriptionDescription: Anna Petrus’ flower pots are sturdy cylinders with joyous reliefs of vigorous women dancing – quite in contrast to the severe designs of the adjacent objects. Examples of creative product development in form as well as function, the pots were designed as building blocks that would form columns when piled on top of each other. Petrus’ cast iron columns flanked the entrance to the Swedish pavilion of industrial arts at the 1925 Paris World’s Fair.
