DescriptionDescription: Brown stains scattered over the drawing. The main part of the female saint drawn on a cut out piece of paper, glued to the original drawing. Laid down. Inscribed at lower right in pen and brown ink: Lodovico Caracci and numbered at lower centre: 749 (Sparre) On the left, St. Petronius, patron saint of Bologna, represented as a bishop holding a book, on the right, St. Dominic. In the foreground, St. Lucy offering her eyes on at dish [Bjurström, It. Drawings, cat. no. 1452]
