DescriptionDescription: Tyra Lundgren and Estrid Ericson were course mates in the 1910s. Ericson was training as an art teacher, while Lund- gren was studying various applied arts. They would remain very close friends. Lundgren’s portrait of her friend in white gloves and with a sophisticated black silhouette was painted the same year as Ericson founded Svenskt Tenn AB and opened a shop on Smålandsgatan in Stockholm.
