DescriptionDescription: Ninnan Santesson and Maj Bring belonged to a circle of women artists that also included Siri Derkert, Vera Nilsson, Maja Braathen and Mollie Faustman. They travelled together, met regularly and supported each other, but rarely exhibited together. Santesson made portraits of many figures from the arts, including Naima Wifstrand and the German actress Helene Weigel, who moved in with Santesson in Lidingö during the war, together with her husband, Bertolt Brecht.
