DescriptionDescription: Pen and brown ink, white highlights (according to Catherine Loisel added by Michel Corneille) on light brown paper. Inscribed on paper glued onto mount, in pen and black ink: amico Aspertino. Cabinet de Crozat. (Tessin). Numbered in pen and black ink in lower right corner: 670 (Sparre). Verso: Virgin and Child. Pen and brown ink. The old attribution to Aspertini is unconvincing. Chris Fischer suggests Francia or his circle, bearing in mind the lyrical mood of the piece. [Bjurström, It.
