DescriptionDescription: Speaker addressing an audience. Laid down. Numbered in pen and brown ink at lower right: 359 (Sparre) and 35 (struck out). Philip Pouncey has identified Petrazzi's oeuvre, assembling a group of drawings around a sheet in the Albertina, "The Martyrdom of a Saint", inscribed Astolfo Petrucci Sanese. To this group he has added our drawing, as well as a sheet at Christ Church, Oxford, and a set in the louvre. [Bjurström, It. Drawings, cat. no. 1203]
