DescriptionDescription: These chairs are from Malmö City Theatre’s main auditorium (today Malmö Opera). The fabric is Masker, from a collection designed for the theatre by architect David Helldén, with a motif from ancient Greek mythology and drama. The laurel leaves represent Apollo – protector of arts, poetry and science. The masks represent comedy and tragedy. The auditorium was one of Europe’s largest, with more than 1 500 seats.
