DescriptionDescription: Study of two seated girls, seen from behind. Laid down. Inscribed in pen and brown ink at lower right: Giotto. Numbered in pen and brown ink at lower right: 5. and 3 (Sparre) 16th century copy after a predella by Pesellino, painted for Lippi's altar in S. Croce and today in the Uffizi, representing St Anthony preaching over the miser's heart. Another copy after the woman to the right exists in the Uffizi. [Bjurström, It. Drawings, cat. no. 1045]
