DescriptionDescription: Drapery study. No watermark. Inscribed in pen and brown ink along he lower edge: Polajollo. Numbered in pen and brown ink at lower right: 48. (Sparre) and 10 (struck out) Nos. 1004 V, 1007, 1008 and 1009 r/v all belong to a homogeneous group of drapery studies. So far no unique characteristic features have been identified whereby the drawings can be ascribed to one particular artist. The whole Stockholm set is characterised by a rather rigid pattern with straight folds. Catherine Goguel considers the attribution to Pollaioulo a possibility. [Bjurström, It.
