DescriptionDescription: The Angel of the Annunciation. Laid down. Numbered at lower right in pen and brown ink: 50 (cancelled) and 518. (Sparre). The largest existing collection of drawings by Melchiorre, who was a pupil of Maratta, is in Düsseldorf, where more than one hundred drawings by his hand are listed in the Krahe collection.
