DescriptionDescription: Flying putto. Laid down. Numbered in pen and brown ink at lower right: 8 (cancelled). On the mount in pen and black ink: 498 (Sparre). The putto is seen in front of a tree. A number of closely connected studies are in the Farnesina, Rome. The manner of shading with rather sparse parallel strokes is found in many similar, rather early works by the master. [Bjurström, It.
