DescriptionDescription: A bishop's ascension. Title page? Laid down. Inscribed at lower right in pen and brown ink: Calandrucci (Germisoni) and numbered 530 (Sparre). Preparatory drawing for an engraving probably representing a composition by Calandrucci. The cautious handling suggests that this might be a work by the engraver. There are similar drawings in Düsseldorf and Windsor. [Bjurström, It. Drawings, cat. no. 645]
