DescriptionDescription: [for NMH 326-327/1863]: Joseph' cup found in Benjamin's sack. No watermark. Verso [NMH 326/1863]: Vulcan's Smithy, pen and brown ink. The outlines of the foreground figure on the left filled in with red chalk. Vertical fold on the left with tears (repaired). Inscribed in pen and brown ink at upper right: Raffaelo ... Numbered on the verso in the lower right corner: 267 (Sparre). Copy of the central part of an unexecuted project for a grisaille in the Logge, known through a drawing in the Louvre. The verso reproduces the painting over the fireplace in the Sala delle Prospettive in Villa Farnesina in Rome, decorated by Peruzzi and assistans. [Bjurström, It. Drawings, cat. no. 547]
