DescriptionDescription: The Entombment. Laid down. Numbered in pen and brown ink at lower right: 265 (Sparre). This probably reproduces a lost drawing by Raphael, known through an engraving by Giulio Bonasone and a partial copy in the Louvre. The drawing seems to have been partially reworked by a different hand in point of the brush. [Bjurström, It. Drawings, cat. no. 555]
