DescriptionDescription: In 1949 the young Christer Strömholm produced a feature on Swedish artists in Paris for the newspaper Dagens Nyheter. One of them he captured in a highly unconventional manner, with the focus on the artist’s attributes in the foreground. The sitter was Gunnel Heineman, a student of André Lhote at the time. She herself has recounted how Strömholm developed the photograph in the bath of his hotel room, presenting her with the result the following day
