Description: Since the 1960s, Ralf Turander has been one of Sweden’s foremost fashion and reportage photographers. In 1990 he took a series of portraits for the interior design magazine Sköna hem, featuring individuals who could be associated with chairs. One of them was the museum curator and public educator Lars Sjöberg, who in this expressive portrait poses behind a ladder-back chair from the 18th century. Sjöberg is associated in particular with the launch of IKEA’s range of furniture from that century.

För tidningen Sköna hem gjorde han år 1990 en serie porträtt av personligheter, som kan förknippas med stolar. En av dem var museimannen och folkbildaren Lars Sjöberg, som i detta talande porträtt poserar vid en stegstol från 1700-talet. Sjöberg är särskilt förknippad med lanseringen av IKEAs serie av möbler från detta århundrade.
